Day 73
5 miles trail running with Lilo.
Such a glorious day in Vancity. I have faith in you Vancouver, I am putting away all my winter cloths and bringing my summer dresses out. Don’t disappoint me or get me sick please. Today was just so nice out there, fresh mountain air and the sun peaking thru the forest… Nothing beats trail running. It makes everything so much better. It makes you feel so free and wild.

Day 70, 71 & 72!
Day 70, 71 & 72!
Thursday, Friday Bar Method, Saturday 5 miles trail running with Vodka. Lunch time Bar Method is the best, a perfect full body workout in an hour. I am getting addicted to it, feeling stronger every day. And today, getting back to the trails was just what I needed to clear my mind from all the madness that has been happening around me lately. Being out in the woods made Vodka pretty happy as well. Read more
Day 69
Day 69
Lunch time 3 miles run with Lilo. What a crazy day in Vancity today! I seriously woke up so angry to the rain, to the grayness of the day. It felt like January when I had to put on my wellies and put on doggies rain jackets this morning. Cold, wet and windy. Just yuck. So after ranting for couple of hours about the awfulness of the weather in Vancouver, something happened. The sun decided to join.

Day 59
10km solo run. Such an amazing day here in Vancouver. The wind is so gentle, the sun is so warm and the beauty of this city is just hard to describe. I had to work today until 6pm, but still head out for my run along the water facing the sun, feeling the fresh warm air, taking every breath with a smile. Nothing beats the feeling of a run outside in the sun after a long week of work. And also, it feels like it’s the beginning of trail running season soon! Cannot wait!

Day 56 & 57 and 58!
Day 56 & 57 and 58!
Today’s entry required an exclamation mark because I haven’t been writing for the last 2 days! Not slacking, still did my 10km on Thursday then lunch time Bar Method both days. I am having trouble sleeping properly lately, and that’s been the issue with delayed posts. I am exhausted physically and mentally but there is no switch button to thoughts.
Things will calm down eventually, or I’ll adapt to the tempo. You need to push your limits to learn about yourself!

Day 53 & 54
Since I have been a slacker (go ahead, tell it to my face), it’s going to be a long one tonite. My sincere apologies. Monday morning started with a 6am Bar Method and today is ending with a lovely moonlight run after work with Vodka.
By the way, I feel like more of you started running recently. So happy and proud of all of you who are going out and choosing the be active and playful. And to be honest, spring running is so peaceful.

Day 50 & 51
Combining 2 nights into one once more. Life and work have been go go go lately but hey no excuses to miss a beat. Friday, lunch time Bar Method, today 4 miles run with Lilo + rollerblading in the sun with Vodka. Lots to write about today. I have been inspired by a lot of things recently. One of my good friend (Hi Kristy!) is taking a big step forward for a better world; a better world for animals who are neglected, abused and abandoned. I am so happy and so proud of her, I wish her actions will inspire many more.

Day 49
I am catching up with all the resting I have been doing. 6am 5 miles speedwork with Vodka followed by lunch time Bar Method. My quads were just solid during the class. Lots of stretching before bed tonite.
It’s been a long day but it ended with couple of glasses of wine with good dear friends. So lucky to have such good company.

Day 45 & 46
Double featuring today once more. I haven’t been active for the last couple of days, taking it easy and seems like I slacked on my writing as well. I watched a really interesting talk the other day and the ideas are definitely worth sharing with the world. The talk is about the way people think about charities and how non profit sector is not able to keep up with the profit sector. The non profit sector on its own is a market for love, compassion and affection. And how can you monetize that?

Day 43
Day 43
Woke up @5.56am for a 6am class… Yeah didn’t really work out. I went for my 7 miler instead with Lilo. It was actually a super nice morning, I ran all around the seawall, the sky was pink, the ocean was calm. It was blissful. A good way to start Friday. I think I enjoy my running days way more than before since every run is really specific and different. I concentrate more on myself, my breathing, my form. Just 3 days a week of running for a marathon training. You can do it too. Quality over quantity.
