151 Days to go

6.30am 6 miles tempo run.
My sidekick seem to be taking this week off, they are not leaving their beds. To be honest, it was really hard for me to leave my bed this morning too. I am out of my caffeine fix in the morning so I dragged myself out of the apartment. But, hey, most of the time, leaving the house is the more difficult than running itself.

One month AFTER

I miss this. I miss you all. Today, it’s been a month since the race day. It feels like it was ages ago. It took me 2 weeks to recover from the race, beating the cold and replenishing my whole system… Now I am obsessed with the next thing. Another one? Absolutely.

Day off running. Stretching.

I started packing this morning. I’ll be staying with my mom with the dogs until Friday since Ollie is already in LA.
I didn’t go to bed at a decent time last night, so I slept until 7.30am this morning. It felt nice to sleep a little more. I know I won’t be able to sleep Saturday night before the race, so these days are pretty important.

6.30 am 8 miles solo run

We reached our goal of $5000 last night! I am so thrilled by the support that I received yesterday. While we were just watching the news glued to the TV or following the events online, I had you all encouraging and supporting me. It’s an unbelievable feeling.

6.30 am 2 miles easy run with Lilo

First of all, I would like to send my love to everyone who got affected by the earthquake in Japan. Nature is not playing good with us, we can make strong buildings against the shake but when you get a tsunami, you feel helpless. Please reach for a hand, a paw or a branch and do as much as you can do to help to those who are in distress.

Day off running, physio exercices

Happy Monday! Such a gorgeous day outside. And how do you like my hat? I dont carry it as good as a firefighter but I think it suits me 🙂 thank you Ollie for the photo.

My training for these last 2 weeks is pretty easy, I guess it’s time to rest and recover until the race. My legs are doing pretty good after 20 miles on Saturday.

6.30 am 18 miles solo long run

I ended up doing the same route from last time just to be safe. But I didn’t feel warm for the whole 3.22hr that I was out there. At least I missed the snow I guess. But today was the definitely the coldest run I have ever done. So windy and so bloody cold!

6 am 5 miles run with Lilo

We got a pretty fun run, I think she missed running together. She tried to go to the water once but I managed to catch her before she got wet.
Super cold outside, there was ice all around the ground. At least I get to see some clear blue sky now. And I get some color in my photos 🙂

I am having pretty bad back pain. I didn’t sleep well at all. No training.

I want to write about today. Not about it’s being Monday but about the increase of color red all around town.

Day off

Happy Sundays! So nice to stay in bed even though I get up around 7.30 on my day off.
We went to Cafe Medina for brunch, if you’re in Vancouver and can make it there before 10, you’ll can have pretty yummy brunch with a Moroccan mimosa and a lavender latter. If you’re late, you have to bare the queue.
