104 Days to go

6.30 am 7 miles solo run.
I have to admit, I really didn’t want to leave my warm bed this morning. When the alarm went off at 6am, all I wanted to do is to snooze. But I managed to drag myself out and hit the road early. We have a busy day starting with brunch with friends then sailing in the afternoon and going to see Avengers at night. I had to run early.

It seems like all the roads are blocked due to the Vancouver Marathon. Vancourites, check the road closure before heading out.

My knees were hurting a lot during the run this morning but having the sun shining on my face made me ignore them. Other than that, my shoulders are a bit sore from running with my backpack. I carry 2 ltrs of water with me during long runs. A bit heavy.

On a different subject matter; switching to soy chocolate milk is not that bad. It tastes a little funny but I think I may stick to it rather than going back to regular chocolate milk. I still haven’t tasted the vegan cheese, I’ll do that when I am not that hungry 😉

It is a beautiful day outside, I hope you guys will take advantage of it. Working 6 days a week makes Sundays really special for me. It’s the only that to do all I have to do and all I want to do. At least I finished this week trainings, put a load of laundry, took the girls to the field so far. Next, brunch at the north shore with friends. I am such a brunch snob.
Brakfast is the most important meal for me and I can eat breakfast food 24/7. It’s something cultural I guess. In Turkey we are big on breakfast. Fresh loaf of bread from the bakery, delicious fresh cheese, tomatoes and cucumbers from the garden, and a glass of Turkish tea. If any of you have been to Turkey, you know what I mean.

This is it for this week.
Now go out there and grab the day. Nourish and protect your dreams rather them letting them die. There might be bad days but in the end your dreams will bring you the sunshine and the aspiration you need.
Sending you all lots of love.
Thank you for all your continuous support. I am planning a trip to visit Search Dog Foundation last week of May. Can’t wait.
