103 Days to go

Monday, I am falling in love with you for letting me rest.
After a fun filled Sunday, it was hard to get back to work. I had such an amazing time yesterday sailing. Seeing the city from the water is beautiful. It made me miss the Bosphorus. I hope I can have some time to go cruising with a boat in Istanbul in July. I don’t think I can live in a city with no water.

This week, I am really practicing my patience skills. I am not born with that personality trait, I am trying to acquire it. I am trying to remind myself that being patient is not just indifference to daily life’s irritations or upsetting incidents. It’s a virtue, it’s a real control of self, of one’s feelings and impulses. Not always easy. But as Edison said: “There is no substitute for hard work” and lately, it’s been a lot of hard work in my life. I am looking forward to some play time.

Talking about play time, I am hoping to visit Search Dog Foundation last week of May. Currently, they are trying to find “fur-ever” homes to 5 dogs. Please take a look at their facebook page and see if you have anyone who would provide a loving home for these beautiful pups. Click here It would be such a treat for me to meet some of the rescue teams and the dogs who are in training.

I hope you guys had a fantastic weekend, and have survived your Monday.
As always, little deeds of kindness, a simple hello, go a long way. Be a citizen of this world, be gracious to strangers, compassionate to animals. It’s just a way of life.
Lots of love to you all.
Gros bisous.
