135 Days to go

Happy Easter everyone! Such a nice feeling to have a weekday off, especially a Friday. No running for me today, I have this strange bump on my left foot, so I took it easy at the gym. I try to keep it elevated and ice it couple of times as well. I got a 16 miler to run this weekend, can’t afford an injury really.
I am thinking doing half day snowboarding @Whistler, and then do the 8 miler around the lake in the afternoon.

The girls didn’t really understand the change of their routine today. Having both of us at home conflicted with their sleeping habits. So they’re both passed out right now after following us around the house the whole day.

While I was reading articles online today, I bumped into this website called “Division of Easter Bunny Affairs (DEBA)”.

Well, I have to share some of the rules with you – I am fairly new to this Easter thingy, so I follow directions.
“All eggs must be filled with delicious candy. If a child has overly strict nutrition guidelines and cannot eat candy, then a suitable toy equivalent can be allowed if the Easter Bunny first contacts and receives DEBA approval. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should any Easter Egg ever be filled with non-candy food or healthy messages. We represent a fun-loving holiday, not a diet plan. Those breaking this rule, like the bandit dubbed “Healthy Bunny” are in direct violation of DEBA policies.”

“Eggs can NEVER be used for personal communication or political messages. Again, “Healthy Bunny” leaves messages about exercising, like “Exercise: 90 minutes 3 days a week to lose weight, 30 minutes for general health.” This is absolutely unacceptable unless those messages are framed within Easter fun, like the classic “Keep Hoppin’.””
So dear friends, keep hoppin, and have a fantastic Friday!
*And since we are all happy & chocolaty today, consider donating to save disaster search dogs.
Lots of love. xo
